1st November saw the first day onboard Consultant Marine Engineers for 20 year old Nicholas Naish who has joined as a junior project assistant to be involved with documentation, general drawings and schematics. Nicholas attended the Royal Alexandria and Albert school in Reigate and then Reigate College studying mechanical engineering and IT. |

November 14/17 during METS in Amsterdam this year the Global Superyacht forum was held in the Rai centre MD of Consultant Marine Engineers Charlie Baker participated on a “New Build” panel , see links |

April UKSA in Cowes IOW saw MD of Consultant marine engineers Charlie Baker give a presentation for the new batch of engineers studying at the high tech facilities in Cowes, it was a well attended affair and the Q&A lasted as long as the 60minute Power point presentation that gave an overview of CME and what was expected from sea going engineers |
